2. Accessing this website
When you access this website, technically necessary server data is processed, in particular your IP address, time, requested resource, browser and device information. This is used to provide the website securely and analyse errors on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Server logs are retained only for as long as required for operation and security.
3. Financial checks and contact requests
When you submit a check, we process your answers, the orientation score calculated from them, your name, email address, telephone number, postcode and preferred contact method. This is used solely to classify your request and contact you personally. The legal bases are your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and pre-contractual steps under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
The score is a non-binding initial assessment. It does not result in an automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Optional statistics
Only with your consent do we record anonymous funnel events such as start, step, completion and CTA click on our own server. The funnel, step, language, a random session identifier and, where applicable, UTM parameters and click IDs supplied by advertising platforms are processed. Answers, calculator values and contact details are not part of these statistics. Data is not shared with analytics or advertising networks and no cross-session profile is created.
The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can change or withdraw it for the future at any time via ‘Cookie settings’ in the footer.
5. Optional information
If you activate the separate consent in the contact form, your contact details may be used for relevant information about our own services. You can withdraw this consent for the future at any time by email.
6. Retention and recipients
Request data is deleted once processing is complete unless statutory or contractual retention requirements apply. Technical providers for hosting and databases may process data solely under a data processing agreement. Any other disclosure takes place only where legally permitted, required or consented to.
7. Cookies and local storage
Your consent choice is stored in a cookie for six months. The protected Studio area uses one necessary, HTTP-only, secure session cookie for no more than twelve hours. Accessibility and language settings and voluntarily saved check progress are stored locally in your browser. The optional random funnel session identifier is created for the current browser session only after statistics consent.
Fonts and images are served locally, so visiting the page does not connect to Google Fonts. Necessary storage cannot be disabled because core functions would otherwise not work reliably.
8. Your rights
You have rights including access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability and objection. You can withdraw consent for the future at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
